A frozen Lilac bud. This has to be one of the coolest photographs I've take, just because of the circumstances! It was a slightly warmer day than usual when I took this, so all the snow was melting. The little 'ring' you see in the middle of the ice is the water from the melting ice trapped inside the ice itself! It's literally melting from the inside out!
