Creature - Emerald Djinn

"Get back! Get back I say!" The angry old innkeeper swung her rickety old broom though the musty air of the tavern, wafting a strange green mist towards the door. "We'll have no fights tonight!" She yowled as she forced the rest of the mist through the door and out into the street, where it hung close to the cobblestones, seemingly disappointed.

This is an Emerald Djinn, as denoted by their green appearance. There are several other types of Djinni, such as Sapphire, Topaz, and Ruby, all of which appear in different colors and have different temperaments.

Emerald Djinni are more violent than other species, and tend to cause fights for no reason at all. They are not very welcome in taverns.

All Djinni have two states; solid and ephemeral. They all appear as colored mist in their ephemeral states, except for their faces, which are always visible. Once they enter their solid state, they cannot move that body part (ex: wiggle their fingers if their fist is in solid state) but can still move that body part around (ex: swing their solid fist) if that is the only part of them that is solid. The older and more experienced a Djinn grows, the areas of its body that it can solidify grow larger, and they can eventually interact with solid objects in their ephemeral form.

Emerald Djinni prefer to become sharp objects. One favorite tactic of theirs is to float high in the sky and form their bodies into sharp objects, then fall downwards onto their foes.
